Marriage of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her businessman beau Raj Kundra is on the card. It’s now official that the duo will enter into wed lock by the end of this year. Though Raj proposed Shilpa one year back, he became more romantic this Valentine and proposed Shilpa with a diamond ring. Shilpa’s excitement was sky high as she was not expecting this from Raj.
Shilpa-Raj is working together as they are the co-owners of the last year winning team, The Rajasthan Royals and presently busy in promoting their team. The duo have spend nearly one crore in the music video featuring Shilpa donned in silver studded attire. Simultaneously, she is working on two projects, The Man and The Desire.
Shilpa has turned businesswoman. Apart from owning her own yoga DVD, she has also opened up a chain of medi-spa. With so many wonderful happenings in life, Shilpa is basking in joy and moreover getting Raj as future husband, her happiness touched sky.
Cancer-stricken British reality TV star Jade Goody raises doubts about Shilpa’s victory in her autobiography Jade: Catch A Falling Star. She mentioned in the book that the win was planned. Jade who has slurred Shilpa on the show had the impression that the producer of the show had some coordination with Shilpa.
"I got the impression that the producers jumped through hoops for Shilpa Shetty. This was magnified in my mind because in the house she informed us of certain things (obviously none of this was screened, though)”, Jade wrote. "Shilpa specifically told us all she had insisted on certain clauses in her contract. One was that if she went into the diary room and asked for something (within reason) she would get it,'" the autobiography further read.
Jade in her book further acknowledged that she had passed some dirty comments to Shilpa. "Yes, I said those things and they are nasty, but I am not a racist... I shouldn't have done that," she apologized. After the show, Jade went into depression and was admitted to rehabilitation centre. She was also diagnosed with cancer when she came to India to participate on the reality show Bigg Boss in which Shilpa was the host.
Post Big Brother, both Shilpa and Jade became friends and Jade even invited Shilpa to her wedding.
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty congratulated cancer-stricken British reality TV star Jade Goody on her wedding in advance. Jade mother of two, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four will finally tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend 21-year-old Jack Tweed. Doctors have given the speculated time period to Goody but before leaving the world she wished to fulfill her long time wish. Shilpa with whom Jade had a severe clash during the Big Brother show further tightened their friendship by inviting Shilpa on her wedding.
Shilpa confirmed the invitation on her blog, she wrote, “Read an article on Jade Goody’s deteriorating condition... it disturbed me ’cause the last time I spoke to her, she seemed very positive and we were all expecting that the doctors would be able to curb the cancer from spreading. This piece of news came as a shock - so I called her hoping it was only a rumor but she confirmed it. Jade being Jade shifted the topic to her wedding on Sunday and she invited me for it.”
Unfortunately, Shilpa will not be able to attend Goody’s wedding due to her shooting in Kuala Lumpur. But she asked sorry to Jade and congratulated her beforehand. Shilpa is concerned for her kids and expressed her sympathy for them on her blog, “It was a lot of mixed feelings - happiness, helplessness and extreme sadness. She wants the best for her kids and I hope Jack makes a good father to them.”
London based businessman Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty is a couple. For couple of days, rumors are growing ripe that both are engaged and marriage will take place very soon. But Raj Kundra in an interview denied getting engaged to Shilpa Shetty and brought into rest all the wrong speculation of their engagement. He remarked that both are committed to each other and if any advancement in their relationship takes place, they will not keep it hidden but share their moment of joy with the world but for now they do not have any good news to share.
After owing the Rajasthan Royals, Shilpa and Raj is frequently making news. Raj adds that Shilpa will look at the merchandising and entertainment factor and will also conduct a reality show to choose cheerleaders for the team. Raj and Shilpa is new in the filed in which Shahrukh and Preity already attained master degree. On asking whether there is any competitive feeling in their mind, he quipped, SRK and Preity are friends and the idea behind the whole game plan is to have more fun on and off the ground.
Raj had a great passion for cricket and he is happy to be associated with DLF Indian Premiere League.
