Abhi never mess with Ash

http://bollywood.celebden.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/abhishek.jpg

Junior Bachchan has a high regard for his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Though media cooked many conflicting stories of them, on the show Oye It's Friday, hosted by Farhan Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan proved all those stories wrong and revealed the secret of their successful relationship. He never mess with Ash as they understand each other well and the best part of Ash is that she cares and loves Abhi’s parents more than him.

What makes Ash-Abhi’s relationship more beautiful and grip is that Abhi never ever mess with Ash and also does not feel insulted on bowing before his wife if he does any wrong. He said, “I am not the kind of person who thinks you lose face when you apologize.” Bachchan confessed that he has grown up with women - his mother, an elder sister and three cousins and therefore understands the strength and importance of women. He feels that women are much superior to men.

He said, “We men are nothing. So don't ever mess with women. They have a fantastic ability to sulk. They remember everything. So there's no point fighting with them because you will never win. And you know what's worse? Even when you fight, at the end of the day you want to sleep peacefully. You certainly don't want to end up on the couch. Always remember that the woman holds the keys to the house!"

Abhi praises Ash in the following words, "Aishwarya isn't hoity-toity at all. She's a very normal lady. Very loving. I really love the way that she takes care of my parents. That means a lot to me. I am very particular about my parents. I care for them, as any son would. You are always tense about your wife's relationship with your parents. But in our case, my wife's best friend is my mother. She calls my parents more than I do. She's really become part of the family. And to top it all, she manages to look beautiful even when you get up in the morning. Now that's fantastic. Ash and I get along very well. She's like my best friend."

Aamir gets sneak peek of Big B`s new look in `Paa`

Mumbai, March 14: Aamir Khan sure is lucky. The actor is the only one allowed to have a sneak peek of megastar Amitabh Bachchan`s startling new look in his forthcoming film ‘Paa’, but he was of course sworn to secrecy.

Aamir paid a surprise visit last week to the Big B at Film City here while he was shooting for R Balakrishnan`s ‘Paa’ that also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan. Visitors are strictly not allowed on the film`s sets, but Aamir was soon escorted to Amitabh`s make-up van.

Balakrishna, who is popularly known as Balki, is paranoid about his leading man`s looks being leaked out and he swore Aamir to secrecy.

"We don`t allow a single visitor, not even close relatives or friends of crew members on the set. Phones of course are a complete no-no. The next thing you know the look will be splashed on the net. Aamir of course couldn`t be turned down. But yes, we did swear him to complete secrecy almost like a boy scout`s cross-your-heart kind of pledge," Balki said.

"We can`t afford to take any risks. If Mr. Bachchan`s look leaks out, the plot is out. In any case Aamir is a man who understands the exigencies of cinema. He will hardly be expected to leak the look out," he added.

Amitabh`s make-up is being done by none other than Stephan Dupuis, who did Robin Williams` make-up in ‘Mrs Doubtfire’. And he takes a good four hours to get the desired look.

While Aamir got a look at Big B`s unique never-before look, Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor who dropped in the next day were not that lucky. While Sanjay met up with Amitabh when he was not in his special get-up and costume, Ranbir had to be turned away after being appeased by a photograph of the Bachchan senior`s look.

Balki, who has earlier worked with Amitabh in "Cheeni Kum", says he will soon move the shooting of ‘Paa’ to Malaysia to protect the actor`s look from prying eyes.

"We really can`t take any risk about Mr Bachchan`s look. Once people get to know what he looks like the plot will be given away. This is why we are immediately shifting location to Malaysia, not because we require a foreign location. But because we need to shoot without the fear and embarrassment of visitors," the director said.

According to our source, “Sonam is completely in awe of SRK, and has watched all his films. She even remembers his introduction scene on a bike in ‘Deewana’. In fact, when she first saw that film and him singing ‘Koi Na Koi Chahiye…’, she fell out of her bed.

It`s never too late for appreciation: Arjun Rampal

New Delhi, March 14: Though he made his Bollywood debut in 2001 and has acted in around 20 movies since then, it took Arjun Rampal eight years to get his first Filmfare Award. But the model-turned actor says no wait is too long to taste success.

"No, not at all. I don`t think it is late. I believe it`s better late than never. When I joined this industry, I was a complete outsider and it took me some time to understand how it functions," Arjun told reporters.

"You learn to grow in this industry and if you are growing that is great," he added.

Arjun, who entered filmdom with "Moksha", won the Filmfare Award this year for Best Supporting Actor in "Rock On!". The 36-year-old actor is now upbeat about working in Prakash Jha`s political drama "Rajneeti" which also stars Katrina Kaif.

He said his character doesn`t have grey shades but is more of a multi-coloured one.

"I play a politician and you all know how they are - definitely not sane. So I`m just like one of them, but I won`t say it has only shades of grey; you can say that the character is more colourful like a rainbow," said Arjun, who was here for the launch of Italian store Viavero at Select City Walk Mall in south Delhi.

"For this role, I have not copied any particular politician but, yes, I have been observing a lot about them. I`m playing a dynamic and stylish young politician," added Arjun, who had earned rave reviews for playing a negative character in "Om Shanti Om".

There was much speculation that he had to put on weight for his character in "Rajneeti", but the actor joked that before he could gain weight, recession hit the markets badly and he lost it all.

Arjun walked the ramp for many years before turning to films, but he said he is more comfortable as an actor as it gives him the opportunity to try something new every day.

"I get bored very easily and acting is something that offers me to do something new every day. It is very exciting and chances of you getting bored are very less. So I`m enjoying my stint as an actor," he said.

The actor rubbished rumours of having doubled his price for Vipul Shah`s "Action Replay".

"This is not at all true. Yes, I`m not doing that movie, but the reason behind it is creativity differences and date clashes. It`s a lovely script and I really wish I could have been a part of it," he said.

Apart from "Rajneeti", Arjun will also be seen in "Fox" with Sunny Doel, "The Legend of Kunal" with Amitabh Bachchan and in Sajid Khan`s "Housefull".
