She has had her foot cast at the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum. She’s been named for the Nielsen Box Office Award. She’s Richard Branson’s new comic strip heroine and moreover at home she is the winner of the Filmfare best actress award, with so many wonderful things happening in a series that ravishing Priyanka Chopra is feeling at the top of the world. In a short span, she has achieved the tough ones.
She is on cloud nine as Piggy Chops speaks about her achievement, “It feels great! Fantastic, in fact. The obvious question was ‘Why me?’ But the answer was that in a short span, I had achieved much. As for the Ferragamo experience, I was the first Indian there after Indira Devi, the Maharani of Cooch Behar. I feel immortalized, almost!”
2008 was a wonderful year for Priyanka and she is having more promising year ahead with films like Vishal Bharadwaj ‘Kaminay’ with Shahid Kapur and Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘What’s your Rashee’ opposite Harman Baweja in which she dons 12 roles.
